Got to hate poor workmanship!

So today was the day - today we ventured beyond the boundries of the Cape Town CBD and organised the first prints of the lastest in the range of Ginge Pube shirts sporting the blogspot address as well as the traditional logo we all know and love.

Unfortunately though, despite paying excessive amounts of money, the workmanship was poor at best. On the first piece the Ginge was hardly Ginge (more pink!) and on the overpaid fools second attempt the poluka managed to miss spell the web address! It was unreal! You'd swear we were asking him to perform open heart surgery on siamese twins! Needless to say we were not impressed!

Anyhoo - being a couple people who prefer to avoid conflict at all times and trying not to upset the fragile idoit we compromised and left the place with out two fantastic looking, if slightly imperfect, shirts. For everyone who is interested these two will be on display around town as well as on the site so if you are looking for a late Christmas gift for that special someone come back to find out how to get your limited edition GP shirt.

Much love and party safe Gingeknights!

Ginge Hits The Road to George and Back

Good Morning to all you our faithful masses.

Thousand apologies to you all for the ridiculously long time since our last posting – I won’t even waste time coming up with excuses cause none of them will be good enough – please just accept our humble apologies and accept the complimentary headshot of Ginge we will be posting to you.

Since last we spoke the Ginge brand has grown even greater in its following. As we promised in a previous article the Ginge team made their way up to George for the South African leg of the International Sevens Series.

It truly was an amazing experience! Arriving on the Friday the team did not even bother settling in any accommodation before making their way to Outeniqua Park to join in the Festivities! Upon his arrival GP was quickly ushers into the beer tent, met some locals, signed some bare breasts and finally arrived at the Wellington Brandy chalet. Only in South Africa can so much ‘Anger juice’ be so willingly and quickly consumed!

The rugby on display from the teams was simply awesome – Fiji in particular were sensational on the first day and much love to the Stormers own Sereli Naqualavuki – the man is a legend in the making!

Our accommodation, naturally complimentary, was also something special – amazing views, good company, food and beverages – that kind of stuff isn’t just available to mere mortals – it takes something special to get that out in the middle of the Boerland!

The second day flew by quickly and after a couple cold ones at Dros the team headed out on the town to spread the love. It was a big night for George, not only was Ginge in the house but with the lighting of their Christmas lights and Danny K busting out a carol or two there was a real sense of celebaration in the air.

With Little Nate and Captain Roux as our guides we settled in at a nice little vibe called Zanzibar. The booze was cheap, the women (Afrikaans but) beautiful, the Portuguese team good okes, but then... the dancing, die dancing was ‘onbeloofluk’(forgive me ma).

Did you know?!?!? ‘Langarming’ – i.e. old skool sokkie dancing actually happens!?!
Did you know?!?!? One man with a guitar replaces a whole sound system in a Dutch Club!
Did you know?!?!? The leeuloop is the number one requested and played song in George!

After five minutes of just simply standing in awe of the whole Afrikaans experience the team settled in for a nice chilled night of self promotion and hunting before heading back to the Wilderness accommodation.

The team would like to thank our sponsors, the South African team, Kabamba Floors, Nathan & Chantel Raath, the people of George, baby girl, Wellington, thefourth.com and everyone else who added to our excuse for a two day party!

Much love and Christmas tidings to you all.

oh, and pics will follow when I'm not working for a computer that was born before me...

Summer loving!

With Holiday season almost entirely upon us things are in over-drive at the Ginge Pube Company.

Merchandise, events and partying consume our days and we wouldn't have it any other way. With the end of November approaching fans can look forward to the unveiling of the new summer Ginge T-Shirt: set for debut during the first week of December, as well as a weekends excitement at the upcoming international 7''s, to be held in George on the weekend of the 8 & 9th December.

A Ginge crew will be making an appearance at the event and are expecting to party like real rockstars among some of the worlds best seven's players - including the likes of, a Ginge favourite, Kabamba Floors.

Before signing off today the folk here at Ginge.blogspot.com would like to send an international shout out to Stuart and Tonia. Two loyal Ginge-knights who have recently arrived in the US for a little work experience (and maybe a trip to Las Vegas) are not here to partake in the celebrations but we are sure they will be well looked after during their time in George W's little country - Ginge has in fact called the president himself to guarantee it.

Where to catch Ginge this weekend!

Ginge will, as expected, be hitting the party scene hard this weekend!

As is just about normal the G-man will be attending two lucky kids' 21st this weekend and has even promised to speak at both of them - one wonders if Mark and Lex know just how fortunate they are!

As always the party could end up in Claremont so if you are out be on the lookout for the phenomenon and be sure to come say hi and get your two minutes with the man himself
